Honor Thy Mother series

This series of egg tempera and 24K gold leaf paintings is about honoring our Animal Brothers and Sisters. We were charged with serving as their stewards. Instead, we exploit and abuse them for the sake of power, greed, and control. The animals I paint are either endangered or compromised. My hope is to raise awareness of our duty to care for them which, in effect, protects our Planet. A portion of the proceeds from the Art For Sale is donated to one or more of the following: The Environmental Defense Fund the Humane Society International, or the National Wildlife Federation.
